Inquisition

You are Inquisitors. You seek the Truth. The fetid bile of liars and knaves plagues the realm. Virtue has been muddied. Wretched creatures rule from chairs once sat in by kings, and the people lose faith in the Light. The time has come to root out the falsehoods and lies that the people have been fed. It has fallen upon you to judge the guilty, the wicked, and the evil, and ward the meek, the scared, and the helpless.

You already know fragments of the Truth. You have read it in forbidden letters, or overheard the whispers of conspirators. None are assumed innocent, and all must submit to being questioned.

If weeds grow, must I not prune? When darkness rears, I shall be light! Where sin gathers, I shall show virtue! Once lies breed, I shall speak truth!
