Oath

Oath is a one-shot roleplaying game for 3-5 players, including the game master (gm). All you need is a set of polyhedral dice, some coins or tokens, a pen, and some paper.

You are not the heroes. You are oathless—the lowest caste, born into servitude, without a name to speak of. You are slave folk—lives spent in back-breaking labor, hardened by your woes and ruin. All your life you were forced to conceal your faces behind masks, under penalty of death. 

The heroes have tasked you with taking news from the warfront back to the capital. You will take death-oaths, and die when your mission is complete. If you are successful, your families will be granted oaths and faces, and will live as free folk. Each of you have this singular goal—to gift oaths to your partners and children, and free them from their masks.

To succeed, you must trek through the Wildelands.
